Liposculpturing and fat augmentation target a more feminine waist/hips ratio and prominent curves.
Unlike other forms of buttock surgery, such as placement of silicone buttock implants, a Brazilian butt lift is touted for providing more natural-looking results while also creating more roundness in your backside.
It can also help address certain issues, such as the sagging and shapelessness that sometimes occur with age.
You might also consider the procedure if you’re bothered by figure imbalances that make it difficult to wear clothing comfortably.
Another benefit to Brazilian butt lifts is that there is a lower risk of infection compared to silicone buttock implants. It does have a better safety profile than other substances, such as silicone caulking and sealants, that are sometimes illegally injected into buttocks by people not qualified to perform the procedure.
Despite these advantages, there are some serious side effects to consider.
Is the Brazilian Butt Lift Permanent?
So here’s what you need to know about the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. It does last and it is permanent, but it’s important to be aware of the science and to be realistic about your expectations.
Like any cosmetic surgery your immediate post-surgical result is not your final one, but this is especially true with the BBL. When you get a BBL 50% of the transferred fat cells will be reabsorbed by your body, but the other 50% of fat cells, if they survive (and we’ll tell you how to ensure that they do), will essentially stay in your butt forever.
That said, when you get out of surgery and you see your butt, it will be pretty swollen, so it will actually look a lot bigger than what its actual size will eventually be. Over the weeks and months (yes months) following surgery, your butt will start to take on its actual size and shape and only then will you be able to observe your final result.
So here’s the thing, the BBL is a permanent procedure, but like with any surgery, how you care for yourself after your surgery is really what’s going to get you the best and longest lasting result, and with the BBL we can’t stress this point enough. If you want your BBL to be permanent, be KIND to your butt after surgery.
Follow your surgeon’s post-operative guidelines carefully
Follow your surgeon’s post-op guidelines really carefully and don’t risk losing precious transferred fat cells. So when your doctor tells you to wear a compression garment, wear a compression garment. These garments help to reduce swelling and bruising, they help reduce the risk of infection, they keep your skin smooth and they also allow for your newly shaped buttocks to maintain that shape.
You should not to sit on your butt for a little while, probably at least two weeks, which also means not sleeping on your back, or driving. It may sound impossible, but you’ll get tips on how to manage this part of your recovery.
And NO SMOKING! Smoking really inhibits the recovery process and also the chances of those fat cells surviving because it doesn’t allow enough good stuff like oxygen and nutrients to feed your blood stream, and healthy blood flow is essentially a lifeline for your new fat cells.
Standart BBL package includes liposuction of full waist, abdomen and the lower back (up to bra strap).
